WELCOME TO THE GROPIUS ENSEMBLE WEBSITE

Named after the pioneering modernist architect and founder of Bauhaus, Walter Gropius, and inspired by his theories and creations, the Gropius Ensemble was founded by some of Israel's top young musicians, the Ensemble specializes in creating new artistic genres that draw on different disciplines of Art, such as Music, Theater, and Dance.

The Gropius Ensemble was founded by its artistic director, Daniel Cohen, who gathered a very fine group of young artists, dedicated to finding a new language for the stage. A fruitful collaboration was soon formed with the multitalented actor Itay Tiran, who is now the Ensemble leading actor and theater man.
